Normally this workout is done with a dumbell snatch, we will be subbing in a KB snatch and it should be a squat snatch but for the majority it will be a traditional KB snatch.

mmm. feels like i did a few L-pullups yesteday. awesome after a week off.
man i did not realize how brutal that little bout was until about 30min later, no subs were instituted, and concentrated on deep squats during the snatch. So DJ which color band you use man, or did you have emma hold you legs up for ya?

haha. no band and no subs for me (didnt seem to have the cooordination for the snatchs though). props to jas and TH. Its all about not giving up no matter how hard it is.
I find once you are able to hold your legs out in a good L the pullup itself is a bit easier kinda changes your center of gravity. As for the snatch it’s all about getting under the weight after the second pull from the shrug, form leads to function and smoother execution i.e. the dreaded P word Practice. It also helps to have a masochistic personality.
