WOD 28/7/10 _weight carry

Blair Morrison – winning of the European Regional – doing it Euro stylez

Along with Games Week this week, we’ll also be launching into the 30 Days of Handstand Challenge.   Its nothing as crazy as the 100 days of Burpee or Pullups challenge, its pretty straight forward – the challenge is for the next 30 days, every day (no missing days and catching up) spend 10mins working on your handstand.  That means 10 uninterrupted, focused minutes of tryng to develop your handstand – every day.  So figure out where your handstand is at now, chuck your name up on the board, figure out where you want to be in 30days and get into it!

help. I was in Melbourne for the last couple of days and found something I was looking for an opinion on. I was stuck in a office building with nothing to eat except dead fried everything. I found something at the shops and was wondering if I would have been better off eating the wrapper it came in.
    Musashi bulk protein bar.

This is a link to the bars. What is people’s opinion? are these a good option for a snack when on the road or are they just crap?

    “Contains Milk,Soy and Gluten.”

Sounds like it’s based on soy protien and with the gluten content I’d steer clear of that one myself.

By the way, this workout was great fun! Good to mix it up.

  5. Col Brown says:

Fruit and Vegtables come in there own wrappers.

  6. Ben says:

correct col fruit and vegetables do come in their own wrappers, tho Ive never understood why cucumbers needed to be individually shrink wrapped and nashi pears has to don their own foam vest. But I digress -

The nutritonal information in the link is some nice word play “key ingredients” instead of “ingredients” means they have listed what look good and avoided listing “dirt, crack etc. The bars arent the worse thing in the universe but your going to be better off with a tin of tuna, piece of fruit etc (yes Im aware you dont like tuna, so get chicken in a can). Also the Bulk bars arent very nice and leave you with a sore jaw afterwards. Im sure Melbourne has other shops, go and check out their wares :-)

good points by all. 7-11 dont really sell much in the way of fresh though. leaves you with very little options. apparently milk is not very popular in Melbourne either.
