One of the hardest things for people when it comes to CrossFit can be figuring out just where to start. Often people that already train at CrossFit want to get friends/family involved and spread the good word but arent sure the best way to kick start things especially if they arent currently exercising or have never exercised.
Our CrossFit Foundations program aims to introduce and develop the movements of CrossFit as well as teach basic nutrition. The program is delivered over 12 x 1hr sessions, each session building progressively on the last, the sessions are limited to a maximum of 12 people with 2 trainers to ensure everyone attending has the best opportunity to learn and become compentant with the movements.
Our head trainer, Ben, that runs the Foundations sessions is the most experienced CrossFit trainer in South Australia having coached literally hundreds of people thru these movements, it is this experience that means you can be sure you will get the most of your training time.
Areas covered during the program includes :- bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, rowing, running, basic gymnastics, powerlifting and introduction to Olympic weightlifting drills. In addition to this throughout the program there will be information given about basic nutrition for improved body composition and performance.
The program is designed to be suitable for all levels of fitness and ability, all the movements and introduced gradually and the workouts are designed to become progressively more challenging as your fitness improves.
